Dan Beer Music

singer / songwriter / performer

West coast Celtic

A singer/songwriter, performing all over BC and the Pacific Northwest... sometimes as Dan Beer, sometimes with my Band, The SeaBillys. I started singing with the church choir at the age of 8 and, over the years I have had a diverse experience in genres of music and venues. I write story songs.   Singer/ Songwriter, Country, Folk, Americana music lends itself to my ideas. I enjoy performing my songs and others. Irish, Scottish and East Coast Canadian Celtic folk music speaks to me. The songs on this website I wrote in country/singer-songwriter style.  For my Celtic sound look to The Seabillys.

Born from a promise Dan made to his daughter, to write a song about Sailing Ships… Dan has evolved his love of traditional Celtic and East Coast music, into a joyous fusion with his band mates’ roots in the  Folkabilly,   Rockabilly, Pop and Country music genres.

The Seabillys are West Coast Hillbillys by the Sea”.
